One of my most meaningful moments is being selected Parent of the Year for McComb School District in 2010. I have served on the McComb School District Board of Trustees since 2013. In 2017 when I served as chair, we received the recognition of being a whole board of merit by the MSBA.
I am a member of the McComb Pike County Airport Board, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and First Baptist Church of McComb.
I have three sons, a daughter-in-law, and one grandson. I have lived in McComb for 25 years and was born in Tylertown, MS.
