With the feeling of spring beginning to permeate the air, the McComb City Recreation Department has a handful of upcoming events and sports leagues that are available to kids in the local area.
The 2025 Raven's Youth Football League is open to ages 6-12 and is $45 to join. Registration for the league opened February 24 and interested players can sign up at 701 Magnolia St. or call 601-684-3056 for more information.
The city is also putting on a youth and adult kickball league that will take place on Thursdays in June. The league is $30 to enter and registration will be open from April 14-25.

Baseball and softball leagues are open to ages 9-12 and have a registration period of April 28-May 9. The cost to play is $50 and includes a full uniform minus a glove and cleats.

The MRD and McComb School District are also partnering to put on a free three-week baseball clinic beginning June 3. The sessions will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday of those weeks and are open to grades 4-8.
