McComb police are investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening and left two people wounded.
Police responded to a report of shots fired around 5:30 p.m. at a house on the corner of 26th and Bendat streets, where they found shell casings and blood.
Police learned two gunshot wounds victims had been taken to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Assistant Chief Alex Miller said at least one of them had been shot in the leg and neither had injuries that were considered to be life-threatening.
The victims' identities were not immediately released.
Miller said Shot Spotter gunshot detectors picked up 11 shots being fired in the area.
Police were looking for vehicles in connection with the shooting, but had no immediate information on a motive or suspects.
