People who have traveled through downtown McComb probably have driven or walked past this Coca-Cola advertisement that's visible at the ground level of Front Street next to the parking garage. Dating to the 1950s or perhaps before, part of the ad proclaims, "Sold Everywhere, 5 cents." It's certainly true that Coke continues to be sold everywhere, but that price got left behind long ago.

Jack Ryan: The best time I ever had at a funeral

It’s become impossible to ignore the fact that I’ve been going to a lot of funerals lately.
The latest was last Friday, for longtime Enterprise-Journal employee Donald Carlisle. But I can think of at least three other funerals or visitations that I’ve attended in the last few weeks. It’s a lot more than usual.
