Circuit clerk’s offices will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday for absentee voting in the June 28 congressional runoff elections.
Incumbent Rep. Michael Guest faces challenger Michael Cassidy for the Republican nomination for the 3rd District seat in a race that will be contested in Pike, Walthall, Lincoln and Lawrence counties.
Brian Flowers and Ronald Eller are in the runoff for the Republican nomination in House District 2, with the winner facing Democratic incumbent Bennie Thompson in the November general election.
Voters in Amite, Franklin, Wilkinson and Adams counties will be able to vote in this race.
Noon Saturday, June 25, is the deadline to vote absentee in the runoff.
