Summit was setting up for Smokin' on the Tracks on Friday afternoon. The 12th annual event begins this evening ad continues through Saturday, featuring a barbecue cookoff, art and food vendors, a car show and live music.
Friday acts are The Counts and Delaware Horns from 5:30-7:30 and Castro Coleman from 8-10 p.m.. Saturday acts are Hippies in the End Zone from 10-11:30 a.m., Ransakk from noon to 2 p.m. from Alibie, 3-5 p.m. and The Soundbreakers from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Car show and cookoff awards will be given at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
Proceeds benefit the Southwest Mississippi Child Advocacy Center, ASAP and the McComb Animal Shelter, the Miracle League and the Southwest Mississippi Crisis Pregnancy Center.
