A Tylertown man died early Sunday morning in a one-vehicle accident in Walthall County, and two others including a pedestrian were killed early Monday morning in separate accidents in Lincoln County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
Jehdiel Harrell, 24, died at the scene of the accident on Highway 48 near the Pike-Walthall County line after his eastbound 2022 Dodge Challenger left the roadway and struck a guardrail and a tree.
Troopers responded to the accident at 3:47 a.m., MHP spokesman Cpl. Craig James said.
In another fatal incident, James said troopers don’t know who hit and killed Johnathan Grammer, 21, of Brookhaven, who was walking along the side of Interstate 55 Monday morning.
A southbound vehicle struck Grammer, who died at the scene, James said.
Troopers responded to the accident at 6:17 a.m.
Also in Lincoln County Monday, Bryan Ford, 34, of Brookhaven, died after his northbound 2014 Lincoln MKZ left Highway 51, struck a culvert and overturned around 12:30 a.m., James said.
