A 39-year-old woman named Ronnie Bullock was hit twice, once in the leg and once in the hand. She was in stable condition at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Gerrick Matthews, 35, was also shot. His condition was not immediately known but was said to be more serious than Bullock’s.
Police arrested Varnado at the scene and Isaac was taken into custody later, Police Chief Juan Cloy said..
Cloy said Isaac fled the scene after the shooting.
Varnado pulled up as police were investigating, and officers interrogated her before placing her in the back of a police cruiser.
At one point it was unclear whether the suspected gunman was still inside the small home, and officers appeared ready to breach the residence.
