A gunman fired at random into a crowd of people at an apartment complex in McComb on Sunday evening, wounding two women, including one who is pregnant.
Police Chief Juan Cloy said the shooting occurred around 5:50 p.m. at Community Parks Apartments as people gathered to watch a fight that was about to happen.
No arrests were announced.
The pregnant woman was shot in the upper thigh, while the other woman was shot three times, including twice in the chest, Cloy said.
Both have been hospitalized, and Cloy said said their condition is stable.
He did not identify the victims.
