An argument between two groups of people led to a shooting at a McComb parking lot Saturday evening, resulting in a vehicle and a business getting hit by errant gunfire.
The shooting took place at 6:22 p.m. in front of Dollar General and El Sombrero in the Southwest Mall parking lot on Delaware Avenue.
McComb Police Chief Juan Cloy said multiple shots were fired.
"The subjects got into a gray Sedan and began shooting," Cloy said. "No one was hit, but a vehicle across the street at the Domino's Pizza location was struck. Surveillance footage of the incident was captured and the investigator is now gathering video to possibly ID the suspects."
No injuries were reported in the shooting but the gunfire shattered a window at Domino's, and police were scene handing orders to customers, who weren’t allowed on the premises since it was a crime scene.
Duncan Segura, an employee of Southwest Package and Liquor Store, said he heard what sounded like someone emptying a magazine.
"I was inside the store when I heard shots go off, about 12," he said. "I went outside and saw a guy running in the parking lot before hopping into the backseat of a vehicle that then sped off east on Delaware. The police arrived about five minutes later."
Officers at the scene said they found numerous shell casings.
