A man wanted for questioning in a Pike County homicide and a killing at a Houston, Texas, motel was apprehended Monday in Tennessee, sheriff’s officials said.
Authorities in Tennessee took Moses Michael “Mickey” Dillon Jr. into custody without incident in Johnson City, Tenn.
Dillon is wanted on a capital murder charge in Houston in connection with a May 23 shooting at the Frontier Inn Motel.
Houston media reported on the day of the shooting at the motel that an unidentified victim was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds, including once in the chest, in the north Houston hotel.
The suspected gunman fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Pike County authorities have declined to say which local case they want to talk to Dillon about.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Johnson City Police Department and Washington County, Tee., Sheriff’s Office apprehended Dillon.
