McComb police are investigating the shooting death of a 23-year-old man whose body was found Tuesday afternoon in East McComb.
The victim was shot on Avenue G near North Cherry Street, Police Chief Juan Cloy said.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Cloy said police suspect foul play.
The body was found outside in a ditch, according to Cloy.
A passer-by reportedly discovered the person lying on the side of the road and called in a welfare concern to 911.
