A McComb man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting last week.
Lazarius Hodges, 30, is accused of killing Travelyan Knight, 46, who was shot at 615 Argyle St. around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 29.
Knight later succumbed to his wounds at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Police Chief Juan Cloy said Hodges was taken into custody as he went to work in Brookhaven on Wednesday night.
“McComb PD would like to thank the Brookhaven Police Department for their speedy response and support,” Cloy said.
