Led by head coach Corey Otis and assistants Ed Shackleford and Cole Michael, the Mississippi Titans 10U squad won the overall national title for its age group. The players were awarded a banner, trophy and individual rings as a result.
Meanwhile, the Titans' 14U team won the silver championship at its level. That squad was guided by head coach Daniel McGaffeny and assistants Ray Charles Perkins and William "Bam" Quinn.
The Mississippi teams began pool play Friday, Jan. 16, and continued with that through Saturday before Sunday saw bracket play get underway. Championship bouts were held the following Monday, and over 80 teams from across the country participated in this prestigious postseason event.
