The Pike County chapter of "Thee I Love" is hosting an event to celebrate and honor Jackson State head football coach T.C. Taylor.
JSU alumni are hosting the celebration Sunday, April 27 at 5 p.m. It will take place at the MLK Jr. Community Center on 601 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in McComb.
There will be open membership enrollment, a raffle fundraiser and donation opportunities. Taylor will also be presented with a key to the City of McComb.
The event is being co-sponsored by the McComb Black History Gallery.
The South Pike alum guided the Tigers to a SWAC Championship, an HBCU National Championship and the 2024 Cricket Celebration Bowl this past season. Through two years at the helm, Taylor has led his alma mater to a 29-6 overall record.
