A woman who told the McComb city board on Tuesday that Hilda Casin was a guiding light for her and others, wants the city to rename Wall Street in Casin's honor.
Casin, who founded the McComb Black History Gallery and established the city’s Juneteenth celebration, died June 28. She lived across the street from the museum on Wall Street.
