The Palace Theater on Thursday hosted the first Mississippi Rural Placemaking Summit, organized by the Community Foundation for Mississippi.
The event started at the theater, with several speakers including Ward 4 Selectman Eddie Thompson, who filled in for McComb Mayor Quordiniah Lockley.
