MLK Day events slated in area

The ongoing influence and legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will be celebrated at events in Southwest Mississippi as the nation observes MLK Day.
The first Martin Luther King Jr. parade will take place in McComb at 10 a.m. Saturday, starting on Gay Street and ending downtown.
