On Friday, April 15, 2022, I graduated. I didn’t wear a cap and gown or receive a diploma, but the staff at Fortinberry Physical Therapy, my home away from home for over four months, hummed “Pomp and Circumstance” as I exited the building.
I hummed with them. We all knew the tune.
