One person was killed and three others were wounded around midnight Sunday when a birthday party in a field in Sandy Hook erupted in gunfire.
Laurion Magee, 23, died in the shooting, Sheriff Kyle Breland said.
He said the two other people who were wounded were taken to hospitals in Bogalusa, La., and Columbia.
