Woman charged in bar shooting

McComb police have filed felony assault charges against a woman in connection with a shooting last month at a local bar.
Ahmenya Rancifer, 22, has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly shooting Patrick Barnes, 39, on March 29 inside the Ice House.

Park shooting suspect’s bond pulled

One of the suspects facing trial in the February 2022 drive-by shooting at a McComb park that killed a 6-year-old boy and wounded four others had his bond revoked in a court hearing Monday afternoon.
Circuit Court Judge David Strong pulled Malik Reed’s $200,000 bond, which was granted following a drug arrest last year.
