Tylertown adopts medical cannabis regulations

TYLERTOWN — Aldermen in January approved a public hearing on making amendments to the town’s zoning ordinance to allow cannabis facilities in certain commercial zones.
Board members approved the hearing, set for 6 p.m. on March 7, unanimously.

Walthall officials honor teachers, administrators

TYLERTOWN — Walthall County school officials recognized their teachers of the year this month, and added another recognition to the mix.
Superintendent Dr. Bradley Brumfield said the district historically had not selected an administrator of the year, but he decided to start choosing an honoree for that award this year, as well.
