Depot museum slowly rolling

Train enthusiasts and museum aficionados have more of a wait ahead of them before the McComb Railroad Depot Museum opens again.
Museum board members Sam and Ganeath Daniel told the McComb Lions Club on Tuesday that reconstruction of the depot and re-establishment of the museum in its historic home will take 18 months to two years.

Cameras arrive in city, expected to be installed downtown next week

Santa Claus probably isn’t watching you, but the McComb Police Department and Project NOLA should be able to watch you after next week.
McComb City Administrator David Myers helped bring newly delivered cameras into city hall Tuesday afternoon before the city’s budget hearing and showed them off to other city officials afterward.

Thief cashes $13,000 city check

McComb police are investigating a case of theft by forgery from the city.
Mayor Quordiniah Lockley said a $13,000 check written and mailed to a city vendor about a month ago was intercepted from the mail and altered to be payable to someone else.
