McComb city board members are poised to formally request that the Legislature enact a food and beverage tax to fund recreation, tourism and other projects in the city.
After discussing the proposal briefly Tuesday in work session, selectmen directed City Administrator David Myers to put the matter on the agenda for next week’s meeting.
