Tampa Bay Rays left fielder Corey Dickerson, a 2008 Brookhaven Academy graduate and McComb native, found out he was traded from the Colorado Rockies back in late January when he was on the campus of Meridian Community College.

McComb beats S. Pike 13-3, likely in playoffs

McComb baseball put itself in position to make the postseason with a 13-3 home victory in five innings against local archrival South Pike Friday night.

The Tigers (10-11, 6-9) won the first two games at home Tuesday against South Pike to sweep the series.
