The Fernwood Flippers, a local swim team with the Jackson Swim Association, dropped its first two meets of the season, but came much closer to winning in their recent match.
The Flippers lost decisively at River Hills in the opener. However, the Flippers had just 22 swimmers while River Hills had around 150.
