The Southwest Mississippi 14-year-old Babe Ruth all-stars won the state tournament in Petal for the second consecutive year July 8-10, sweeping all three games.
The team will compete in the Regional Series in Lake Jackson, Texas, with eight teams present beginning noon Friday.
