Southwest Mississippi Community College is closing the 2016 football season with its homecoming game against East Central Community College, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. Saturday.
The Bears (2-6, 1-4) are out of the playoff picture, but head coach Tucker Peavey is hoping to finish strong in front of a larger crowd than usual.
