LIBERTY — Amite County’s population dropped by 468 people between 2000 and 2010, falling to 13,131, while the number of voting-age residents rose by 108, according to Census figures released Monday at a redistricting public hearing.
The hearing was the first of two set by the Amite County Board of Supervisors.
