Business was brisk as area shoppers took advantage of the state’s tax-free holiday Friday and Saturday to stock up on back-to-school clothing and shoes for their children.
“We have been doing pretty good, really,” said Thelma Brooks, store manager at Stage in Edgewood Mall.
