Klacy Howze of Walker, La., examined the brightly colored jars of jams and jellies at Joy Alexander’s booth at the Magnolia Farmer’s Market last Saturday and asked about some favorites.
“How many jars do you have of plum?” Howze asked as she checked the labels on some of the jars.
“I’ve got a few,” Alexander responded.
