An Amite County grand jury has declined to indict Lisa Varnado on manslaughter charges in the April 1 shooting death of Magnolia dentist Dr. Doug Morel.
The grand jury returned a “no bill” in the case, meaning that there was insufficient evidence to indict Varnado, an Amite County sheriff’s official said.
