Magnolia’s proposed downtown revitalization moved a step closer to reality Tuesday night, when the city’s aldermen approved plans for the project and for renovation of the town depot.
The board voted 5-0 to approve the plans, which will be funded by grants totaling an estimated $1.56 million.
