North Pike drops pair of home games to Florence

After obtaining their first district win of the season on Tuesday night against Richland, the North Pike High School boys basketball team failed to continue its momentum and lost at home to Florence 56-46 on Friday night.

The Jaguars now sit at 1-7 within the 4A Region 6 District standings.

South Pike picks up pair of wins against Florence

The South Pike High School girls basketball team won at home against Florence 49-45 on Wednesday night to improve to 6-1 in 4A Region 6.

South Pike entered the fourth quarter trailing Florence 37-35 but were able to fight their way to a victory, despite a continuous back-and-forth battle.

Parklane beats Jackson Prep

Parklane Academy’s boys basketball team defeated Jackson Prep 54-42 on Tuesday night, earning their second win over the Patriots this season and their third straight victory against the district foe.
