The Southwest Mississippi Community College basketball teams split a South Division twinbill Tuesday night, as the Lady Bears defeated visiting Pearl River 75-53, while the Bears fell 64-60.
Led by Ivielle Stewart’s 10 points, the Southwest ladies held a 37-24 lead at halftime by shooting 53.6 percent from the field.
