The 2010 softball season got off to a successful start for the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears on Wednesday as they swept visiting Holmes Community College in a doubleheader, 4-2 and 3-1.
In the opener, Southwest led 1-0 after the first inning, as Chasidy Prescott scored on Maggie Dunaway’s infield groundout.
