The Southwest Mississippi Community College Bears opened Mississippi Association of Community and Junior College South Division play Monday by splitting two games with the Jones County Bobcats.
Southwest took the opener 4-2 in 10 innings, before falling 2-0 in the nightcap at the University of Southern Mississippi’s Pete Taylor Park.
