The 2015 softball season came to an end for the Southwest Mississippi Community College softball team Monday with two hard-luck losses to Mississippi Gulf Coast, ranked 12th in the NJCAA.
Gulf Coast picked up a pair of runs in the top of the 10th to win the opener, 4-2, before completing the sweep with a 2-1 victory in the nightcap.
