A McComb police officer was involved in a wreck on Summit Street on Thursday afternoon. Police officers on the scene said the officer, whose name wasn't immediately released, crashed while responding to a call. The crash occurred at the Maddock Avenue intersection. A Chevrolet Tahoe patrol unit apparently hit the back passenger side of a sedan.
