Lynyrd Skynyrd fans make annual trek to monument

Lynyrd Skynyrd fans gathered Saturday at the monument in Gillsburg near the site of the Oct. 20, 1977, plane crash that killed six people, including three members of the band. The monument hosts concerts again on Sunday, with Kendall Shaffer performing at noon and the Chris LeBlanc Band performing at 3 p.m.
