Ayanah Tobias, the daughter of Katrina Tobias and Joseph Tobias, was valedictorian at McComb High School’s graduation on Thursday evening. Adajah Allen, the daughter of Kizzy Coney and Timothy Coney, was salutatorian. Sanfrisco Magee won the C.C. Moore Award, which goes to outstanding athletes.

Some goals for arts district are taking shape

Looking out of the windows of his office on North Broadway provides Calvin Phelps with a good view of McComb’s Arts and Entertainment District, and changes that it has experienced over the past year or more.
While there’s still a lot of room for growth, Phelps said what has transpired is significant.
