Engineer: New loose gravel to firm up

City OKs pact with internet provider

McComb officials approved a franchise agreement with an internet service provider with a tie-breaking vote from the mayor on Tuesday night.
Uniti Fiber of Mobile, Ala., sought the agreement that would allow it to provide internet service in the city.

Supervisors, sheriff revisit buying body cameras

Pike County Sheriff Wally Jones revisited a previous request Friday for the county to chip in to help pay for body cameras.
Jones previously asked supervisors to spend $35,000 per year for the body cameras.
Jones received a donation for the cameras.

New homeless shelter taking shape; fundraiser set for June 8
