McComb officials hired five police officers and a firefighter on Tuesday in a move that helps fill the ranks of understaffed public safety departments.
Shania Coney, Robbye Aucoin, James Nunnery, John Halford and Darren Rogers were hired as police officers, while James Stinson Jr. is joining the fire department.
