On April 30, 2016, Castro “Mr. Sipp” Coleman and his band took the stage of the Palace Theater in McComb as he headlined a festival in the city. The building was essentially in a state of condemnation, but it had a stage, and Coleman’s career as a globe-trotting bluesman was taking off.
