Franklin County fumbles away chances in loss to Morton

MORTON — Playing with a college-style defensive front, the Morton Panthers sealed every hole through which Franklin County tried to run Friday night and beat the Bulldogs 29-7.

MEADVILLE — For everything the Velma Jackson Falcons said on the field Friday night, the Franklin County Bulldogs made note of it with the scoreboard by flashing a winning grin at the end.
