Bulldogs earn win in dramatic fashion

WOODVILLE — The Franklin County Bulldogs overcame a 12-0 deficit to beat a gritty Wilkinson County team Friday night 22-18.

“This was a good win for us,” Bulldogs coach Rickey O’Quinn Jr. said. “Our kids battled and came back after being down 12-0. We’ve got a big one ahead of us this Friday with Hazlehurst.”

MEADVILLE — Franklin County coach Rickey O’Quinn Jr. knew his team was ready for a breakout performance after suffering tough setbacks over the last two weeks.

O’Quinn watched his club overpower Amite County 38-12 Friday night, as six different players scored for the Bulldogs in the win.
