Franklin County falls to 5A power Clarksdale, 40-32

CLARKSDALLE — Despite a career night from Franklin County junior running back Chris Robinson, the Bulldogs still couldn’t come away with a victory as they lost to 5A power Clarksdale 40-32.

Robinson ran for 219 yards and scored three touchdowns in the losing effort, which was the Bulldogs second straight loss.

Collins primed for big senior season at USM

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound defensive end/linebacker returns to Southern Miss for his senior season with high expectations coming off a Conference USA Championship last season.

Franklin County tramples Loyd Star

MEADVILLE — Chris Robinson picked up where he left off last week.

For the Franklin County Bulldogs it was another dominating win.

The Bulldogs beat out-manned Loyd Star 35-7 behind 128 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Robinson on nine carries during the evening Friday.

Robinson, Franklin cruise past N. Pike

MEADVILLE — Franklin County junior Chris Robinson turned Louie Mullins Memorial Stadium into his own personal playground Friday night, scoring four touchdowns and accounting for 217 all-purpose yards in a 40-0 win over the North Pike Jaguars.
