MEADVILLE — Nine years ago, Anthony Hart left Franklin County High School to become the new football coach at Lafayette County.

Now he’s leaving Lafayette and returning to “Bulldog Land” to become Franklin County’s coach once again.

Seminary eliminates Franklin

Seminary’s offense has been hard to figure out all season. In the first round of the 3A State playoffs, Seminary opened up its offense with a 45-43 win over Franklin County to advance to the second round.

Franklin County opens postseason at Seminary

In what will be a featured matchup in the first round of the Class 3A state playoffs, Franklin County takes on Seminary in a battle of the Bulldogs this Friday night.

Coached by Chris Calcote, the Franklin County Bulldogs (6-4, 3-2) beat the Jefferson County Tigers last week 30-6. Seminary fell to Tylertown 33-0.
