Southwest celebrates championship with cookout

After squeaking by at home Tuesday, the North Pike baseball team easily swept a doubleheader on the road against Region 6-4A opponent Richland Wednesday.

North Pike defeated Richland 13-3 in Game 1 and 12-2 in Game 2.

McComb drops 2 to Lawrence County in doubleheader

The McComb High School baseball team dropped a doubleheader at home Saturday to district opponent Lawrence County. The Tigers lost the first game 11-1 and the second 20-8.

McComb (4-4, 0-3) lost all three games of the series this week to the Cougars.
