Don’t try telling South Pike and McComb players and coaches their game has lost its luster.
The South Pike Eagles overcame six turnovers in their season opener Friday night to beat their crosstown rival and former district foe McComb Tigers 14-12 at Colee Field.
McComb fell to 0-2 on the season.
